If you join the launch list

When you sign up on our coming-soon page, we keep:

  • your email address (required);
  • your first name and town, if you give them;
  • whether you own a business or run an organization, and its name, if you give it;
  • the consent line you saw when you signed up;
  • where you came from, if the link you followed said (for example, a campaign tag or the website that linked to us);
  • your browser's description of itself (its "user agent");
  • a scrambled code made from your IP address with a secret key — not the address itself;
  • when you signed up, confirmed, or unsubscribed.

We use this for one thing: to email you about HubFount's launch, and — if you told us you run a business or organization — to reach out about its free HubFount page. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

We ask you to confirm your address before we send anything else, and every email has a one-tap unsubscribe link.

Companies that help us

  • Twilio SendGrid delivers our emails. It receives your email address and the message we send you. We switch off SendGrid's link and open tracking.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that signup forms are filled in by people, not bots. It runs in your browser on the form and looks at technical signals from your browser and device.

Visit statistics

We count visits with our own software, on our own server — no Google Analytics, no advertising or third-party trackers. For each visit we record the pages viewed and when, the website or campaign that sent you, your device and browser type, an approximate location (country, state, and city — never a street address), and when you tap a phone number, an email address, or a link to another website.

We don't store your IP address or your browser's full description for this. They're turned into a code that changes every day; the daily keys behind those codes are deleted after 45 days, after which nobody — including us — can link a visit back to an address. Visit records are deleted after 400 days. After that we keep only day-by-day totals that say nothing about any individual.

Cookies

Our visit statistics use no cookies. The signup form sets one small security cookie, which stops other websites from submitting the form in your name. It contains nothing about you and is used for nothing else. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there's no cookie banner.

How long we keep it

Launch-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address only so we know not to email it again; ask and we'll delete it entirely.

Your choices

Email hi@hubfount.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop our emails.

Children

HubFount is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Links to other websites

Links that leave hubfount.com go to someone else's website, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
